On behalf of my family, please accept our condolences on the death of your mom.  I had met Claire through my husband Jack (now deceased) many, many years ago when they worked at the Nova Scotia Light and Power.  After Jack left the Light and Power we still would meet your mom for coffee at times and reminisce about old times.  She was a lovely woman and had a great sense of humour, and although Jack was fairly quiet and Claire and I did all the talking, she could get him laughing.  Although we had not seen her over the past years, something would come up and remind us of her and we would have a laugh.

We were so saddened to learn of Claire’s passing but relieved she is now in a better place, free of pain.  Claire was mother to our wonderful son-in-law Mark , loving  mother-in-law to our daughter Jennifer and  adoring grandma  MiMi to our grandchildren Jack, Chad and Brooke.     A lovely, sweet lady .  Kind and gentle to all.  We shared many wonderful get-togethers and  have so many fond memories.  We will all miss her dearly.  Rest In Peace dear friend.

Claire and I were next door neighbours during the 1970's to the 1990's and shared so many fun loving times. My condolences go out to all of her family. My name is Glady Sinclair and I live at Northwood. Clare and I originally met as we shared a table for supper.  Clare and I became very good friends.  I have lovely memories of Clare and we both enjoyed music (sometimes I would visit her apartment and play her organ). I am so sad to learn of Clare's passing. I will miss her very much. Although I've known Claire all my life, it's just been the past few years that we've become close, mostly during her hospitalizations but through phone calls and a few outings in between. She loved to talk about years gone by and gatherings at her home and my grandparents'. We'd sing some of the old songs and reminisce. Claire was incapable of artifice; what you saw was who she was. My sister and I had crushes on Pat and Claire when we were little girls because they were so grown up and sophisticated as teenagers. She has gone to a better place where Harold has been waiting a long time for her to join him. I'm sorry for our loss but happy that they are reunited along with her mom and dad and Pat and Don and all those wonderful people who would gather at the piano while Mary played and sing so much harmony you couldn't follow it all. Rest in peace and harmony, Claire.

She was such a lovely lady, I loved her the first time I met her when she visited Markham for Mark and Jens wedding, and always looked forward to her visits..........

I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Claire, too many to mention.She was my best friend, confident, second mom and the most kind ,caring, generous, thoughtful person I have ever known. Most of the memories I have are of her singing, laughing and just being her kind thoughtful self. Spending my summers with her and her visits to Boston are memories I will treasure the rest of my life. She made a difference in my life and anyone who knew her would say the same. Rest In Peace. I first met Claire when I worked at the bank shortly after she had lost her husband. We became great friends and years later I went to look after an elderly couole who just happened to be Claire's parents. They were like family to me and I kept in touch until a couple of years ago. I was thinking of Claire during this last week.  I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Craig and Mark and teir families. Also Don Nd Donna my thoughts and prayers are with you all huggs.
