Boutilier, Margaret Christine, 57 of Halifax passed away very suddenly at home on May 2, 2018. She was the daughter of Sydney and the late Pauline Boutilier.
Margaret worked as a housekeeper and maid for the majority of her life, until she began her journey as a stay at home mom, in which she truly enjoyed. Margaret was a committed member to her community of Mulgrave Park, where she played many roles. Margarets true highlights were serving the hundreds of children each morning at the breakfast program. The excitement this role served for our mom was so rewarding and something she really loved to look forward to. Her dedication and hard work assisting with the food bank was also a big highlight in her life.
Margaret’s biggest accomplishment in life was her family, her 3 girls and 12 grandbabies was all she ever talked about, she was so proud of all their accomplishments. She enjoyed her many family trips and outings.
Margaret is survived by her father, Sydney Boutilier; sisters, wanda and Thelma; her loving companion of 40 years, Brian Dorey of Halifax; daughters, Christine (Mookie), Anita (Chris) and Breena (Nicco) all of Halifax and her 12 precious grandbabies which meant the world to her, Savannah, Christian, Malique, Xavier, Mahki, Neila, Amaijah, Kenisha, Drevonn, Mia, Ayden and Kishana.
