Lorraine Marie Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Aunt Lorraine at Sagewood, Continuing Care in Lwr. Sackville, NS on December 23, 2023. Her quiet nature and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Stella and Alan Wilson, sister Eleanor (Arnold) Brown and brothers Allan (Doris, Dolly) and James.

Lorraine worked for the Federal Government for the DND department her entire career. Lorraine enjoyed her trips to Europe with friends and was a devoted Catholic and travelled many times to St. Anne de Beaupre with her sister Eleanor and friends. She enjoyed pottery, making many Christmas trees and other treasures. Aunt Lorraine also liked to bowl and played in a league with her sister and niece.

The family would like to thank the devoted staff and caregivers at Sagewood for their unending care and friendship over the years to our Aunt Lorraine.

Cremation has take place and a graveside service will take place in the spring.
