Lisa Denise Glover

It is with great sadness that the family of Lisa Glover announces her passing on May 12, 2024. Lisa passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 60.

Lisa was sweet, giggly and unique in her own way. She could often be seen on power walks wielding her cane near Bayers Road. She was routine-oriented, ‘curious’, and impeccably neat. Lisa had a great love of watching sports and the weather channels, although it certainly frustrated her that the various channels would forecast temperatures that varied by one degree! She was known in our family as quite an “armchair meteorologist” and her enthusiastic weather updates will be missed. She loved lottery scratch tickets, word puzzles and games, and will be remembered sitting in her favorite armchair drinking tea and watching afternoon sports.

Lisa had a great love of family and will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Robert; sister-in-law, Loretta; nieces and nephews: Justin, Nicholas, Stephen, Madeleine and Amanda; grandnieces and grandnephews; and other extended family and friends. Lisa was predeceased by her grandmother, Gertrude Hill (Halley); mother, Barbara (Balcolm) and brothers, Scott, Brad and Donald.

Family and friends are invited to JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on June 6, 2024 from 10 am – 11:30 am for an informal gathering, with a private family burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Lisa will be dearly missed. We hope that she is now giving her mother and brothers a good run for their money playing cards.
