In honour of your mother and her choices in life and death please let me say how much I admire her strength and ability to communicate however she chose ., Take comfort in knowing many would wish to follow her example and have the courage in life to make those difficult decisions… one of the great ladies of our time! I read the article about Kay Dyer’s special request for donations. Something about the description of her personality reminded me very much of my late mother, Mildred Millington. Mom raised three daughters and a husband and didn’t broadcast her opinions, but we knew that she supported a woman’s right to make personal choices at all stages of life. In memory of both these wonderful women, I have made a donation to the Women’s Choice Clinic. My sincere condolences to the family on your loss.

Dear Kay,
We are at a loss for words as we try to express the depth of sorrow and grief our family feel upon hearing the news of your passing. It is with a heavy heart that we all write this letter to bid farewell to a dear friend who has been a significant part of our lives since we met first back in 1996.
Since then, our journey together was one filled with countless memories, laughter, and shared family experiences watching our kids growing older. From the moment we met, an unbreakable bond formed between you, Blair and us, and we forged a remarkable friendship that spanned almost three decades. 
It is difficult to comprehend that you are no longer physically present in this world. Your absence leaves an indescribable void in our hearts, as well as in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known you. 
We find solace in knowing that your suffering has finally come to an end. Although your physical presence may have departed, your spirit will forever live on within our cherished memories.
As we reminisce about our countless shared moments of joy, we are reminded of your infectious laughter, your genuine warmth, and your ability to light up any room you entered. Your friendship was a gift that we will forever treasure, and the impact you had on our lives is immeasurable.
In this time of profound loss, we extend our deepest condolences to Blair, Steve and loved ones. May they find strength and solace in the beautiful memories you created together. Please know that you will never be forgotten.
