I am so sorry to hear of Jude’s passing. May you all find strength in each other to help you through this tragic time.  You are all in my prayers. 

It is with great saddness that I offer my condolences to Jude's family. I taught Jude at MRHS; he was a creative spirit and had so much to offer the world.  I am so sorry for your loss.

So very sorry for your loss . Please find strength and comfort in each other at this difficult time. 

I have never done one of these before, so please forgive me. But it pains me greatly that I was not able to attend the funeral due to my distance. I guess I’ll just speak from the heart. Jude meant a lot to me, as I’m sure he meant to everyone; particularly his family. Jude was quiet to most, but when he opened up, you could tell that there was so much beneath the surface. He was known for his love of music but he also had a great sense of humour along with his music taste. He never failed to make me or others laugh. Writing this now, I cannot express how deep my condolences are. Nothing will ever heal this wound, except for time. And that’s only a small comfort. It will always hurt. When I met Jude I was going through a very rough time, and he was a quiet support through all of that. I wish I had opened up to him, and I wish he’d opened up to me. Jude was even one of the reasons why I became best friends with someone—and why one of my best memories is prom night. I wasn’t going to go to prom, and he asked me to go with him. I had one of the best nights of my life, and he truly made an awkward, lanky, girl like me feel beautiful and like a princess that night. Despite his own insecurities and awkwardness just was incredibly brave and did many things that went against his shy nature. He would take risks, and that’s one of the things I respect about him. After all, I didn’t want to go to prom because I was embarrassed without a date, and he alleviated that by being the better person and ignoring his fear. I will always be grateful for the short time I have known Jude, he has impacted my life’s in unimaginable ways. And I have so many regrets about things, but all I know for sure is that I love and miss Jude desperately. You couldn’t ask for a better friend. And the world will surely be dimmer without him in it.

My deepest condolences to you both in the loss of Jude.  There are no words to express the deep sorrow in losing someone especially at such a young age. 
I pray that you will be able to carry on, hold each other close...one day you will smile again. I am sure Jude would want that for you.

i never had the pleasure of meeting jude,i was away in alberta and couldn't return because medical issues,while i  was away jude took my granddaughter lexus to the the prom,and gave her a beautiful corsage,and for that ,i will be forever grateful,lexus and jude continued to remain close friends,my thoughts and prayer's go out the family,rip jude ,fly high with the angels.


I was so saddened to hear of Jude's passing. I remember him as a kind kid who was friends with my son until we moved but they still kept in touch here and there. Probably through their shared love for music and gaming. You will be fondly remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

So, so sorry to hear about your passing . I remember you as such an avid gamer Jude. My prayers are with your family . Young life gone too soon.

I worked with Jude at McDonald’s in the grill almost everyday, he was quiet at first but he opened up to me after a bit of time. I was always able to put a smile on his face in some sort of way everyday which always put a smile on my face. We were all a family at McDonald’s and even though most of us have went out separate ways we will always be there for each other.💜 Rest easy Jude, keep playing your music. 

I had the recent pleasure to drive with and get to know Jude. He was a quiet  person but he did share some of the things that he enjoyed. I was his driving instructor and I can say for certain on October 9th he beamed because he passed his road test. I saw real happiness in that moment and I was proud and happy for him and the work he put in. Please accept my condolences, my prayers go out to Jude’s family. I can still see him beside me driving the car and sharing that he felt more confident. Good bless you Jude.

I worked with Jude at McDonalds and he gave his best effort everyday and every shift. He was a team player and so kind. He was very quiet but from time to time he’d share his thoughts.

Like Crystal I got the rare hello, and a few smiles.  His love of music was evident by the ear phones forever around his neck. And in the break room....only music and Jude. 

My heart goes out to his family and friends.  I miss my McFamily and sad we lost a member.

We were so sorry at MRHS to hear about Jude's passing. He's left students and teachers with lots of great memories.

I was Jude's principal for some of the years he attended Musquodoboit Rural High School. It was a real challenge getting students to show up at the end of the day on Fridays, in order to share a "Friday Song" for us to play over the PA. And then Jude took it on! 

Jude rarely missed a Friday, and he was fantastic! What an eclectic selection of music. And it didn't seem to matter what style of music or what song he chose to play, it was always a hit with everyone. 

Jude really helped put a spring in everyone's step and a smile on our faces heading into the weekends.

I worked with Jude at McDonald’s I was his shift manager, He was the type of kid that did exactly what was asked of him with out hesitation.He took the job seriously and worked hard for us, I knew he was starting to like me cuz one day he came in and said “ hey Crystal” he had worked there for months and never really said much too me,I even got him to laugh at me a time or too lol, he will be thought of and missed, I am so sorry.
