Jean Gray

Jean worked at MT and T for 30 years until her retirement in 1996. She was a lover of word searches, bingo, cards and playing crib with the ladies from Northwood. Jean would always be there to help you in any way she could and had a very kind heart.

Jean will be greatly missed by her daughters; Denise Jollimore (Wayne), Kelly Gray (Donald) and Beverly Gray; her grandchildren, Andrew, Vanessa, Aaron, Laura, Jordan, Stephen and Matthew as well as her sister, Dorothy Roberts. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Frederick and Harold Sleigh and her sister, Marion McNeary.

A warm thank you is extended to Jean’s family doctor, David Tilley and all the nurses, doctors and staff at the Critical care Unit at the QE II.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1pm from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax followed by a memorial service at 2pm. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
