SKINNER, HAROLD ROLAND, 95 of Halifax passed away Sept 21, 2018 at the QEII VG Hospital. Born in St Jacques, Newfoundland, he was the son of William and Mary (Rose) Skinner. Harold worked as a teacher and principal in Halifax area schools and was very dedicated to St John’s Anglican Church and served on many committees. Survived by his son-in-law, Greg Bell, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife, Winnie, and his second wife, Ada (Roberts) and daughter, Linda Bell.
Visitation Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral Service Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 2:30 pm at St John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd, Reverend Randy Townsend officiating; burial in St John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to St John’s Anglican Church. Family flowers only please.
