It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Gail Marie Johnson, of Halifax, announces her sudden and unexpected passing on January 25, 2021 in her home at the age of 73.
She was the eldest child of the late Arthur and Marie Pearson. Gail is survived by her three sons, Joseph Braconnier, Michael (Gail) Pearson and Thomas (Amanda) Johnson; her two brothers Bernard and Basil; as well as her two grandchildren Tyler (Sam) and Katelyn (Jared) and her only great granddaughter, Maisie. She will also be greatly missed by dear family friend, Deryl Riley and her friends at Revival Tabernacle Church. Gail was predeceased by her parents as well as her former husband, Arnold Johnson.
Gail always enjoyed playing darts and took great joy in attending bingo with her mother.
A memorial service will be held in Gail's honour on Monday, February 1 2021 at 11:00am in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, located at 2666 Windsor Street. The service will be officiated by Rev. Linda Smith and Pastor Terry Smith.
