Florence Amanda Colp

I was born in First South, Lunenburg County, NS, to Lawson and Flo (Lohnes) Zinck on September 21, 1922. I am survived by nieces Sharon (Tommy) Spindler, Bedford, NS, Donna (Mark) Boucher, Ottawa, ON, nephew Scott (Debbie) Moreash, Richmond Hill, ON, and niece Nancy (Reg) MacMillan, Bridgewater, NS. I am also survived by a special great nephew Cole (Lauren) Boucher, Ottawa, ON.

I was predeceased by my loving husband of over 70 years, Ray, sister Mona (Ronald) Moreash, brother Donald (Mona) Zinck, brother Gilbert who died in infancy, nephew Dave Zinck, nieces Rhonda (Vic) Poland and Debbie Parkinson.

I married Ray Colp on July 26, 1947 and resided in Halifax, NS. I was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church of our Saviour, Dartmouth, NS.

I request no donations, flowers, visitation, or service.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, NS. Cremation has taken place and the interment of my ashes, along with my husband Ray’s, will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, NS, for family only at a later date.

I wish to thank my loving family for their care and support, and also the staff of Aberdeen Hall, Parkland Clayton Park, Halifax, NS, for the support and loving care during my residency there.
