Emily Patterson

In the early years Emily dedicated herself to her home and children and later in life worked for 20 years with the Department of National Defence. As being a part of a military family she did a lot of travelling, especially while posted in Europe. She enjoyed bowling, curling, sewing, knitting, aerobics, and reading.

Emily was predeceased by her husband Vernon and sister Betty.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelley (Dane) McCaffery; Sharon (Jack) Roach, and Christina Patterson (Alden Oliver) ; son, David (Charmaine), Grandchildren: Adam, Matthew, Aidan, Brent, Logan, Meghan, Kaitlyn and Erica. Great grandchildren: Trevondre, Kalaysha, Emilya and Alijah. Also survived by her sister Jean and brothers, Tony, Don and Fred.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. They would also like to thank the staff at Parkland Enhanced Care.
