Frye (nee St-Alphonse), Elizabeth Joan -born in Montreal, Que, age 83, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday March 27, 2016 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS. She was pre-deceased by her husband and bridge partner, Harold Frye and sister Nancy Middleton. She is survived by her daughter Joy Trites (husband Darrell) of Stilesville, New Brunswick; beloved grand-daughter Jennifer Finlayson (husband David, sons Alec and Darron) of Halifax, NS; nephew Stephen Middleton of Vancouver, BC; step-sons Bobby and Steven Frye (wife Melanie, sons Andrew and Daniel) of Mississauga, ON. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends in the bridge community and especially her cat and cherished companion, Sam. A special thank you to the staff of the Halifax Infirmary Units 8.2 and 7.4 for their kindness, care and compassion throughout her hospital stay. Elizabeth will be buried alongside her husband in Stilesville, NB at a private ceremony to be held at a later date.
