

Levick, Eileen Theresa Age 76, of Halifax. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on May 11, 2015 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born August 29, 1938 in St.John’s, Newfoundland. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Lowe (Toth). She was predeceased by loving husbands Louis Bardos (d. 1978) and Arnold Levick (d. 2014). She is survived and deeply missed by sons Thomas, James, and stepson Edward, and her Grandchildren Jacob, Ian, Benjamin, and Kate, and her brother William. Her most special times were those spent with her family around her. Eileen was always a gracious hostess and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. A resident of Halifax for more than 50 years she has touched the lives of many. Known to many as Mrs. Levick, “The Landlady” Most recently she was a resident of the Adelaide Respite Inn in Waverly where she was lovingly cared for. Visitation will be held at Cruikshank’s On Windsor Street in Halifax on Friday May 15, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John Vianney Church in Lower Sackville at 9am on Saturday, May 16,with reception to follow. In leiu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
