I knew Donna way back. We shared many things while growing up in the Allan and Lawrence street area with many old friends. Sorry to hear the news so late, but my wishes are that the family and friends remember her life. My condolences.

My condolences to Doreen and the Coleman family. Though I worked with Donna many years ago, she became a friend to me more than anything else. And not just a friend but a true friend. I cannot express my thanks for providing me with accommodations in Halifax 15 years ago when my own sister was undergoing surgery for cancer related issues at the time. Over the years the laughter shared is something that I shall surely miss.

To The Coleman Family:
My sincerest condolences to all of you on the loss of a very dear sister. I attended Oxford School and Donna and I were in many of the same classes along the way. I well remember her infectious laugh that many have commented on. Your parents would have known my Mom & Dad as they all bowled with St. Theresa's Parish league. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

There are no words that express what a wonderful person Donna was. I was privileged to have worked  with and got to know Donna. Always there when you needed her help. I have fond memories that I will cherish for a lifetime from my visits to Halifax and having Donna as my tour guide.

What a great loss of such a wonderful person.  I have many fond memories of Donna throughout the years at Canada Post.  Most memorable would be her visit to Newfoundland during her screeching in ceremony to become an Honorary Newfoundlander - her laughter was unforgettable. Rest in peace, Donna.
