Born in Norris Point, NL on March 27th, 1956, Wade is the son of Donald & Rosamond Harding. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Karen (Cullihall), daughters Vanessa (Matthew Butler), Jessica (Larry Greene) and son, Zack, as well as number one in his life, grandson Ewan Butler. Besides his parents, Donald and Rosamond, Wade is also survived by his sister, Glenda(Roger) Eddy of Revelstoke, BC and brother, Dennis (Lorraine), Harding of Cambridge, ON.
Wade was predeceased by his brother, David (2008), with whom he not only shared a birthday but also a passion for food, scotch and travel. Wade also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law, Bob Roberts (DoreenTucker) of Rocky Harbour, NL, Carl (Cora) Cullihall of Stephenville, NL, Aubrey (Christine) Cullihall of Lively, ON, Dar (Neta) Cullihall of Rocky Harbour, NL and Greg (Yvonne) Cullihall of Long Pond, CBS, NL. As well, Wade leaves his sisters-in-law, Mona (Clarence) Decker of Pasadena, NL, Lillian (Wayne) Pittman of Gander, NL and Kathy Cullihall of Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law, John (1999) and Eliza (2014) Cullihall, of Rocky Harbour, NL , his sister-in-law, May Roberts (2001) of Rocky Harbour, NL and his brother-in-law, Henry Cullihall (2014) of Winnipeg, MB.
A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland (1977), Wade eventually went on to work at Morneau Shepell for 25 years before accepting a position with Aon Hewitt in 2011, becoming Health and Benefits Canada National Practice Leader.
Wade, always the gracious host, had a passion for family, life, food and photography.
Visitation will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home on Lacewood Drive from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 1st. A celebration of life will be held at the same location on Saturday, April 2nd at 3 p.m.
Memorial donations can be made to the QE2-VG Site Foundation (Palliative Care) or 6A (Thoracic Surgery).
