David Lamont Hodges age 60, Hackett's Cove, passed unexpectedly at his home April 17, 2021. Born January 21, 1961 in Halifax, he was a son of Doug and Elaine (McCully) Hodges. Besides his parents, David is survived by his two sons, Shawn (Megan) and Ryan, their mother Margaret (Dickson) Hodges, brother Philip (Colin), and grandchildren Theo and Hollis.
David was a lifelong employee of the Maritime Tel & Tel Company, loved the outdoors, especially around St. Margaret’s Bay, the family camp in Tantallon, swimming off Clam Island, fishing the Ingram River, and working on his yard and garden on “the Point”.
Respecting David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service.
