There are no words to express how sad we are to hear of Dale`s passing. Despite the fact that we live in Truro, we are just learning this devastating news today. Dale was an amazing, kind, strong woman; the world won`t be the same without her in it.

You probably will not remember me but I had the pleasure to have you Mr. Bellefontaine as a teacher in high school at CPA graduating class 1994 and had met Mrs. Bellefontaine many years before when she taught at Elizabeth Sutherland School back in the 80's. I can remember how she would take in any of the students early in the morning or at lunch who needed an extra had with their school work even though she didn't have to, and was so kind and patient. During her first pregnancy I remember the teacher substituting for her was teaching us to crochet at lunch and I made a bonnet for your baby. I am so very, very saddened by the news of Dale's passing.  Dale holds a special place in my heart:  a super positive and untiring educator and a special person and colleague who supported me as a brand new teacher beginning my career at Oxford School.   So many stories, so many laughs, so many fond memories of working with Dale at Oxford School.  Dale was a rarity as a person - few and far between are people who look at the world and nurture relationships (with family, colleagues and students) like Dale did. Dale's unwavering positivity and attention to relationships when faced with difficult situations at the school was always, and remains, an inspiration for me on how to proceed when working with people.  I think of Dale often.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this very difficult time.

Our hearts and love go out to all of you. You have had to say good-bye to your wonderful wife and soul mate, mother, sister, and daughter.
