Both Corwin and I are saddened by your loss. We are so sorry that we are unable to attend Christine's Celebration of life as Corwin  isn't able to travel just now- he had a kidney removed (know you understand all too well). So sorry to have read about Christine’s passing. I had the good fortune to work with her over the years at MT&T. She was a thoughtful, kind person with a quiet humour which I enjoyed. We bumped into each other a few times over the years since, when time only permitted a quick chat, but always parted with a smile remembering the special times we enjoyed as work-friends. Dear Bill , Evan , Stefi, Erika and family, 

We are very sorry and schocked by the news of Christine´s sudden death. We know she was very sick and had both hips broken but never thought this.

We can only send our condolences in these hard times and a very strong hug for the whole family and especially for her son Even her husband Bill .

At least, her loved people have been able to be with her, supporting her in the last days, and giving her the love an support that will have done her much good.

We have nice memories of Christine from the years we lived in the US as childs and we were going to visit you in Moncton and, the bautiful familiy reunion of the year ´92 where we all had such a good time toghether.


Every time, I will look the glass star she gave me she was there some years ago, I will feel that she is there in company with her mother Renate and her father Donald taking care of all her dear people.

Dear Bill and Evan,
I was so very sad to hear of Christine's passing. We were colleagues at MT&T/Aliant  and we kept in touch. Christine was a very special person.  She always had a positive attitude despite her health challenges and she was all about maintaining and strengthening connections with her family and friends.  Please accept my sincere condolences as you face your great loss.

Christine and I were baptized together as children, her Dad Don was my Godfather and my Father's brother. Christine also shared my Mom Claire's name as her middle name. We both have a child age 15,  and she married a man named William who shares my Dad Bill's name as well.
I always felt a deep connection to Christine but  grew up separated by several thousand miles, as I grew up on the west coast and in Alberta. It was my hope to meet her family and introduce her to mine. I hope that she is able to be rejoined with my Aunt Renate and Uncle Don as well as others from the Williams family that have passed before her. My brother James is also in heaven and it is my hope that they get to meet each other.

Attached is a picture of her three Uncles on her Dad and my Dad's side of the family. From left to right, Uncle Doug, Uncle Bill (my Dad) and Uncle Tommy. Uncle Tommy passed in the Korean War as he had dual citizenship and fought with the US Marines in Korea.

Dear Bill and Evan,
I am so very sorry ...
It was a shock to see an email message from "Pat," your mother , via Steve,  sharing   the unexpected,  SAD  news of Christine's passing last Thursday .....
It is hard to believe how many years have passed since I saw you two together -  at the Lake - happy and carefree. ( Some of us have grown old.)
Bill,  you and Christine, as parents to Evan,  apparentlty shared some happy quiet years somewhat removed from the Osterman gatherings back in Trois Rivieres - which I also missed.   
I did have news indirectly and often thought that Christine's condition must have challenged everyone and every aspect of your daily life .  In my thoughts,  I admired Christine for remaining optimistic and hoped that  there would be a suitable donnor... One cannot  give up hope until it is impossible.
I also heard good things about Evan and imagine that he is growing into a mature young person with interests which his mother shared and encouraged.  It will be a way to connect with her as he continues...
While there is no right time for a young life to end, there is peace in knowing that the person you loved is no longer suffering.   You will find real comfort in that knowledge and the love of  family and friends.   In Evan,  you two  will always have  a connection with Christine  that remains with you.

I take my mom to dialysis at the Dickson center we used to see Christine there.  So sorry to hear she’s gone. May she Rest In Peace with the Lord. 

It’s been wonderful to be in german class with Christine over the years, and I was really looking forward to our walks once I moved into my new condo on Wellington Street.   Very saddened by her passing - far too soon.  My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. 

Bill, I am so very saddened that Christine is no longer with us, though we will always remember her spirit and the love she shared with us. I am thankful to have known her and to have shared our love of her cats, Chance and Tabitha. I will make a donation to a local cat rescue society in her memory. I was saddened to read about Christine's passing in today's newspaper. She was a dear work-friend and we shared many lunches along the stone wall by the old library facing Spring Garden Road over the years.  It's also true, she loved her family dearly and has left us far too early. Deepest, sincere regrets.
