Carol Dorothy Hogg

Hogg, Carol Dorothy (Miller) age 80. It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Mom passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2016.

Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Miller.

She is survived by her children, Christine (Joey), Pauline (Scott), Cathie (Ken) and John; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley; brothers, Clyde and Donald and her best friend, Hazel.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; sister, Norma and brothers, Douglas and Harold Roy and Harold E. (3 months).

Mom loved going for long drives, picnicking and family get togethers. She made the best desserts in town and who could resist her devilled eggs?

She loved summertime at the cottage and would spend hours on the deck enjoying herself and watching the kids swim and the wildlife. She will be sadly missed.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at J.A. Snow Funeral Home 339 Lacewood Dr.
