PACE, Burnham W. — 69, Halifax, passed away August 7, 2012. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Clarence Pace and Nellie Laing. Burnham served in the Army as a paratrooper with PPCIL. He then was a member of the Halifax Longshoreman Association for 44 years. Retiring in 2008, his passion was for his motorbike (Honda), and his granddaughters. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Wanda (Hubba) Monk; daughters, Tanya (Mike) Mailman, Beaver Bank; Kelly Pace, Halifax; brother, Sherman; granddaughters, Taylor Pace, Caitlin Mailman and Justine Prudhomme. He was predeceased by brothers, Leo, Darrel and Wilbert. He will be sadly missed by his family and close friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 10 in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax. Burial in Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
