Bruce is survived by his 9 siblings; Wayne, Donna (Terry), Bradley (Bernice Negus), Janice (John Slawter), Catherine (Ralph Richards), Kevin, Sandra (Kevin Forbes), Sean and Craig (Mary Fraser). He will be lovingly remembered by his 11 nieces and nephews and his 17 great nieces and nephews.
Bruce was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, but continued learning and taking courses throughout his life. Bruce served his career as an Electrical Engineer at the CFB Halifax Dockyard for over 30 years.
Aside from spending most of his time helping others, and tending to his beloved animals, Bruce was a loving caring man who enjoyed staying busy whether it was fixing cars, doing house renovations and doing daily house chores.
Being actively involved in the AA community and celebrating 17 years sober, Bruce has become a positive role model for those around him. His personality and wonderful sense of humor will be very dearly missed.
Bruce was loved dearly by his family and will remain forever in our thoughts and hearts.
A celebrations of Bruce’s life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11am from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
