THEMELIS, Anthoula – 81 of Halifax passed away December 21, 2012, at home. Born in Athens, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Kiriakos and Elizabeth Hatzimihali.
Anthoula is survived by her daughter Alexandra “Sandy” Themelis-Manios; two sisters, Helen and Georgia; brother, George. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Billy, Tammy, and George. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax, with funeral service following at 1 p.m. in St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, 38 Purcell’s Cove Road. Reverend Peter Mauropoulos officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Anthoula may be made to St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church.
