Albert started his working life as a Miner, but when the Mine shut down, he moved on to carpentry and stayed in that profession for the rest of his career. He took great pride in all the buildings and homes he was responsible for building. If someone said a project couldn’t be completed by a certain deadline, he took that as a personal challenge and worked hard to prove everyone wrong. Albert had a generous heart and gave to many causes, including Wells in Africa or a family in need in the community.
Albert is survived by his wife Patricia; sons Anthony, Darrell (Kimberley); daughters Denise (Harold) Manuel, Lynette (Carvell) Fenton; grandchildren Gregory, Andrew, Amy, Ashley, Joshua, Abeni, Caleb, Breanna, Marcus, Izzy; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Florence, Nellie, Millicent, Maxine, Madeline. Besides his parents Albert was predeceased by his brothers Calvin, Stanley, Earl; sisters Sue, Shirley, Eileen.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Lifesong Christian Church, 300 Stokil Drive, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia with Reverend Timothy Slauenwhite officiating.
