Born March 5, 1925 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Arrived in the United States on February 2, 1938 with her parents, Paula and Arthur Salmon and older brothers Alfred and Otto.
Graduated from Julia Richman High School and Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in New York City.
Met and married her eternally beloved, Hans Aach. Together they had three children, Susan(z”l)(Morry Feldman), David(Debra Libman) and Sharon(Steven Waldman).
A supportive spouse and partner in the family business, Foremost Caterers.
Truly a woman of valor, an independent and indomitable force, modest, hard-working, honest, generous and forgiving. Family was the most important thing to her.
She loved to welcome and serve company in her home, especially her children’s friends. Many felt like adopted children.
She was an active member at Temple Emanu-El, on the National Board of Women’s League, on the Board of Liss College, and volunteered at Englewood Hospital for more than 40 years.
She will be sorely missed by her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, many friends and especially by her amazing caregiver these last 2 ½ years, Khatuna.
She’d like everyone to know that she felt there was nothing a good piece of chocolate or chocolate cake couldn’t solve.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10/14/2024, 10:00 am at Gutterman & Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors 402 Park Street Hackensack, New Jersey 07601. A committal service will follow at 11:30 am at Beth El Cemetery Washington Township, New Jersey.
