Bruce Stuart Gunther

Born in the Bronx in 1943 to Monroe and Madeline Gunther, they moved from the Bronx to Tenafly, NJ where he attended Tenafly High School and then NYU.

In 1964, Bruce met his then future wife Deborah. They married in 1967 and celebrated 56 years together this past January.

In 1969 his son, Scott was born followed by daughter Sherri in 1972. In 2001 Sherri made him a grandfather and Dylan was born.

Bruce loved to interact with people which made him a successful Salesperson until illness forced him to be home and into his second career of stay at home dad. He was an active member and past president of Temple Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah NJ.

Bruce is survived by his wife Deborah, son Scott, daughter Sherri and partner John and grandson Dylan..

A funeral service for Bruce will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Cedar Park/Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.

Shiva Wednesday after cemetery, Thursday , Friday and Sunday beginning at 3PM
