Robert D. Kantola 68, of Waukegan, passed away November 27, 2016 at home. He was born February 2, 1948 in Waukegan, Il. He was a U.S. Army Veteran served in the 8th Army 7th Infantry Division in Korea, enjoyed bowling, golfing and his pets. Beloved husband of Patricia (Pidge) of 40 years, two pets Avis and Irwin, loving brother of Ronald (Edith) Kantola, one sister in law Evelyn, many nieces, nephews, God children, brothers in law and sisters in law, preceded in death by his parents Carl and Mary Kantola, brothers Charles, Richard and Kenneth. Visitation 4-7 pm Thursday at Marsh Funeral Home and 9-10 am Friday at St. Dismas Catholic Church. Funeral Mass 10 am Friday December 2, 2016 at St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave. Waukegan, Il. Burial Ascension Cemetery, In lieu of flowers donations to your favorite Veterans Association or Animal Shelter.
