Kathryn Marie Larsen (Tomasiewicz), age 54, passed away on April 14, 2025. She was born April 28, 1970 in Waukegan, Illinois to Robert and Lauren Tomasiewicz. She married Dana Larsen on October 17, 1992 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Waukegan, IL. They were blessed with two children, and one grandchild: Caleb (Meghan) Larsen and Kiley (Avery) Sokolovsky and son Wyatt.
Kathryn was a proud mother and grandmother. Her family was her everything. She was fun, spirited, strong and a true light on this earth. Many adventures across the country with family and friends occurred to create endless memories. Kathryn always put others before herself and anyone who knew her felt her immense love and joy. Words cannot do justice to express how incredible Kathryn truly was.
Friends and family will gather for a memorial service for Kathryn that will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 4:00PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 North Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031 with a visitation to follow from 5-7pm.
