John W. Kegg Jr.

John W. Kegg, Jr., 83, of Gurnee, IL passed away September 19, 2010 at home. He was born May 23, 1929 in Perry, Georgia. John was a member of St. Dismas Catholic Church and belong to the St. Dismas Men's Club and was a former member of Moose and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Ada (LoMonaco) Kegg; children, Nancy (Gary) Taylor, John (Jayne) Kegg, Daniel (Sandra) Kegg, daughter-in-law, Jean Kegg and Scott (Laura) Kegg; grandchildren, Rodney, Andrea, Johnny, Ryan, A.J., Myllano, Samantha, Jerry, Jenny, Rachel, Courtney and Drew; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Devin, Jessie, Ricky and Aaliyah; sister, Violette (George) Van Pelt and sister-in-law, Millie (Leon) Seay and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Jerry Kegg; parents, John and Nancy Kegg; and niece, Janis Pearce. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 22 from 4 to 8pm and Thursday from 9 to 10am at Marsh Funeral Home. Funeral mass Thursday at 10:30 at St. Dismas Catholic Church. Interment at Ascension Cemetery. Donations to St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL or St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd. Gurnee, IL.
