He was preceded in death by his daughter Maureen. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, son Dan (Diane), grandchildren; Ryan and the twins Amber and Andy, and siblings Carol, Ron and Marge.
He worked as a pipefitter for local 597 for 41 years. Dan was in the 1st Class to Graduate from Brother Rice High School in 1960. Dan worked for several years as a police officer triggering his lifelong hobby of pistol and rifle match shooting. He enjoyed the outdoors, going on camping and canoe trips and hunting and fishing. Wherever life took him, his beloved dog Buddy was always by his side.
Private services for immediate family members will be held on Monday 12-28-20 at at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Road Gurnee, Il 60031
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
