Carol was born Dec. 14, 1961 to Thomas and Barbara (Terrien) Derrick in Waukegan, Il.
She worked many years at Cherry Electric in Waukegan, until the plant closed.
Carol loved to design and make jewelry and was a gifted artist. She also enjoyed sharing her
love of ceramics with her students. Carol was very fond of playing games/board games with her friends and family.
Her appreciation of music was contagious and we will all cherish her love of singing, especially on Karaoke nights.
She will always be remembered for her infectious smile and joyous personality.
She is survived by her father Thomas, sisters Debbie (Jack) Melcher, Lisa Derrick and brother Tommy (Susie) Derrick
and many loving nieces and nephews . She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara.
Memorial Service will be Thursday Dec 29, 2016 at 7:00pm with a Memorial Gathering from 4-8pm at Marsh
