After a life of rich love, laughter, generosity, and steadfast faith, it is with great sadness that the family and friends of Sharon Graham announce her passing on August 24th, 2024. She passed away peacefully in Guelph, Ontario, surrounded by her loved ones in her 70th year.
Sharon was the heart and home of her beloved family. Treasured partner of Bruce Graham; cherished mother of Valerie, Amanda (Peter), Joanna, Robert (Larissa), Tyler (Chelsi) and Chantelle (Patrick); loving grandmother of Melody, Kayla, Garrett, Micah, Emily, Aritraya, Maddison, Zoe, River, Avayah, Bodhi, August, and Judah; survived by her dear sisters- Linda (Norm) Roberts, Carol (Bob) Mitchel, Heather Gordon, and brothers - Mike (Mabel) Gordon and Jim (Carrie) Gordon, predeceased by sister, Patricia (Bob) Maxine, mother, Linda Gordon and father, Bob Gordon; Sharon Graham will be truly missed by many extended family members and beautiful friends.
With her wisdom and words of encouragement, Sharon raised all ships in her harbour; blessing others with her capacity to instill self-esteem and good humour in those around her. We will also cherish her clever wit and mirthful humour. Sharon had a playful personality and seemed always ready with a glass of water to splash or a squeeze to make you laugh. She was the absolute best hugger and always ended her conversations with “I love you more”.
Inspiring others through her commitment to prayer, the beauty of her art, and generosity of spirit, Sharon profoundly impacted those she met and was a blessing to so many. In her life roles as mother, grandmother, wife, sister, friend, and artist, Sharon demonstrated devoted love, passion, and deep concern for the happiness and peace of others. She always emphasized the importance of relationships and family and led by example in her dedication to love.
Sharon has taught us about lifelong commitment, joy in the details, perseverance, and faith. Her legacy of love and steadfast joy inspires us to embrace the fullness of life. For those who were honoured to share the path with Sharon Graham, she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Life is Planned: Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, at the University of Guelph Arboretum Auditorium (College Avenue East Guelph, ON N1G 2W1). Open House: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Celebration of Life: 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
A Memorial Tree will also be planted in Sharon’s honour at the Guelph Arboretum
