Joseph "Jose" Francisco Carreiro

Loving husband to the late Patricia Ann (nee Barber). Beloved dad to Joe (Lori) and Monica. Cherished poppy of Anthony, Tyler, Kayla and Emily. Bonus grand-dad to Matthew and Ally. Survived by his dear brother Mario (Karie). Predeceased by his parents Joe and Lourdes Carreiro, his brothers Danny, Louis and John. Will be missed by all nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Known for his playful spirit, Joe was a master of practical jokes who could always bring a smile to those around him. Joseph was also a big Blackhawks fan, and enjoyed watching hockey games with his family. His generosity and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Guelph General Hospital for all their compassionate care during his time there.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2024, from 11:00-1:00PM, with a Funeral Service to immediately follow at 1:00PM. Burial at Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Highway 6 N, Guelph. Reception to follow.
