Jennie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Benjamin Chi-Ko Lu, her sons, Albert and Andrew, her daughters-in-law, Kathleen and Danielle, and her grandchildren, David and Daniel. Jennie was predeceased by her parents, Ye-Kuei Hung and Wo-Po Huang.
Jennie had a rewarding 20-year career as a Manufacturing and Budget Analyst for VME Americas Inc. in Guelph. She found happiness in her hobbies, such as knitting, watercolour and oil painting. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, bridge and table tennis with her friends, as well as singing in an all Chinese-Canadian choir. While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we are grateful for the loving memories she brought into our lives and to all of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
A heartfelt thanks to The Village of Riverside Glen (especially Emma’s Neighbourhood) and Hospice Wellington for their loving care, compassion and kindness.
