KSIADZ, Henry Joseph— Passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on July 23, 2015. Beloved husband of 37 years to Loretta (nee Greszla). Cherished father of Robert and Stephen. Henry came to Canada from Poland at the age of 10 to reunite with his father Adam Ksiadz (1978) from whom he was separated during WWII. His mother Leonora Slowikowska (1943) was killed in Poland during the war. Henry was a Vice-President of the Guelph Holody Platers & Guelph Platers hockey clubs from 1976-1989 and served at Hammond Manufacturing Co. for nearly 42 years. He is also predeceased by his brother Edward in Poland and his step mother Anna (1997). Family and Friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Family Vigil will be held in our chapel on Monday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Society Canada or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
