WARD, Harold R. - Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 29, 2010 with his loving wife and daughter by his side in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Ward of 39 happy years. Loving father of Sharon (Jim Peseski). Dear brother-in-law of Norma Wilkins. Cherished grandpa of Kim (Julie), Sean (Shannon), Tasha (Paul), and Ashley (Shane) and great-grandpa of Taya, Anistyn, Paxton and Madden. A sincere thank you to Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Dason and the all of the nurses on the fourth floor west. A very special thank you to Rev. Canon Jean Mitchell for her help and guidance. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
