Cynthia "Cindy" Lee Ann (Buczek) Monkhouse

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Monkhouse on July 31, 2023 at the age of 60, with her family by her side.

Cindy was the beloved wife of Terry Monkhouse for 36 years, mother to Matthew and Michael. Beloved daughter of Joseph Buczek and the late Barbara Buczek. Sister to Steve Buczek, Kim Graham (Mark), Michelle Smith (Katrina) and Dear sister-in-law to Tracey Holdway (Doug). Cherished Aunt to Nathan, Jasmine, Morgan, Cody, Jake and Noah. Predeceased by mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Ivan Monkhouse. Cindy was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a special lifelong relationship with Shelley Post.

Cindy worked at Guelph Hydro in the customer service department for 33 years, where she made many lifelong friends. Cindy's greatest joy in life was spending quality time with family and friends, travelling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and making time for anyone that needed her help. The family extends Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Guelph General Hospital, Hamilton General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Guests are invited to take part in honouring Cindy’s life at Marymount Cemetery on Thursday August 10, 2023, at 11:00am, when she will be laid to rest beside her mother.
