Dear Nancarrow family.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your son, Brent. I remember Brent from Mary Phelan School. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. May you find strength and peace in  all the wonderful memories you have made as a family.  Rest in Peace, Brent.

I lived with Brent when I first moved to Whistler and I’ll remember him as kind and caring guy who always made me laugh and who loved having fun. My heart and condolences goes out to his family and friends. Love ya mate, from Australia

Brent and I had so many laughs. So many awesome adventures from Mexico to the cabin to meeting all his family and friends, to his hilarious and fun dancing and him belting out Louis Armstrong.  He was so easy to be with. He was such a caring loving beautiful man that touched every single person he met. I will cherish those memories that I had with Brent. His smile was so contagious, I loved his smile. I will always have a piece missing in my heart, he will be so missed.  And Joshua, meeting Josh was a highlight of my life. I know how much Brent loved Josh so it was so important to me. He was so beautiful and loving, and lit up the room. My heart has been filled up by sharing my grief with his amazing family and friends. I thank Brent for that, and I thank Brenda and Larry for having Brent, Josh and Rowan, who I have now gotten to know more because all this and that means so much to me. Love you Brent and Joshua

What a tragic and unimaginable loss for Brent’s friends and especially his sibling and parents. As a mother, my heart goes out to you,  Brenda. 
I have a vivid and fond memory of catching up with Brent on Granville Island just over a year ago; he wore his super fun, fashion-forward Bart simpson collared shirt, which looked fancy from afar and of course really impressed our son. He shared great stories about his adventures here in B.C.
There are no words but I am thinking of you all.

It was a long time ago but you were a key part of making my year is Whistler such a good one. I think about those times often and miss them so much, none more than hearing you belt out "These Eye Are Crying" at the top of your lungs from the gondy after a huge night out. So sad we'll not get to catch up again. Rest in piece brother.

I don't even know what to say.....I lost one of my childhood friends. The experiences I was fortunate to share with Brent will stay with me forever. From skating downtown Guelph to pool parties in his parents backyard. I'm gonna miss you brother.

Larry and Brenda, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this very sad occasion.

He was so much fun to snowboard with, always so stoked and excited to be on the mountain.

Brent was Trevor’s Best man at the wedding and I remember him being so nervous about the speach and responsibilities. He definitely came up with the goods and had everyone laughing and a few “oh my” moments.

My sincere condolences. I knew Brent as a friend in Pemberton BC. His kind and hilarious ways touched everyone he met. He was a gentle guy with an outstanding sense of humour. I will always cherish the good times we got to share.

Where to start. Brent was full of life and he seemed to love inspiring youth to snowboard. I remember watching him coach Team Alberta’s snowboard team at the Arctic Winter Games in Grande Prairie. I worked with him at Vista Ridge and at Cypress in Vancouver, and many of the best memories at those ski areas had Brent in them.  His laugh was infectious. A major loss to the ski and snowboard industry, but to life altogether. Sending thoughts to his loved ones. Rest easy buddy!

The first home I rented was with Brent and our buddy Mark Steiner. I was just getting into the ski resort industry and Brent showed me the ropes while cypress. We later worked together in the terrain park and I also loved doing party laps with Brent. His style on his board was so natural. Jameson, Trevor, Brent and I rented an RV and headed south Toba mountain we all dreamed of riding. It was an all time fun trip.
You'll be missed fondly.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss my thoughts are with you at this hard time. Growing up with Brent throughout grade school and high school, then years later meeting up before he moved out west we worked at Chicopee for a few seasons together he was so passionate about snowboarding just like I was. I hope the powders deep and the park is pristine nothing but bluebird days where you are now. I'll miss you buddy.
