Armour Livingstone McCrae

McCrae, Armour Livingstone – Died suddenly at home on May 15, 2012. He is survived by his wife Eydie Marion-McCrae and his daughter Cara McCrae (Mike Peterson) and his grandson Elliott, whom he adored. He is also survived by his stepmother Heather McCrae, his stepsisters Donna Creighton and Wendy Dunning (Bruce), his nieces, nephew and cousins. He is also survived by his aunt, Margaret Moro (Rudy). Armour was predeceased by his mother Jessie Mains McCrae, his father Armour L. McCrae, his brothers Nichol (Margaret) and James (Brooke). Since 1990, Armour taught at College Heights Secondary School and enjoyed his students and his career. Armour was fond of traveling and had been looking forward to his summer holiday. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Private burial will take place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to Upper Grand Learning Foundation for College Heights to buy lunch for students in need or to the Guelph General Hospital. Thank you to the Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Service and the staff at the emergency room at the Guelph General Hospital for their efforts.
