She was a devoted mother to Meredith (Gillian) and Emily (Andrew) and loving grandmother to Joah. Andrea was the third of five children born to John and Prue Fry and is survived by her sisters, Adele and Julia and her brothers Stephen and Christopher. Lewy Body Dementia may have robbed her of many things but it could not erase her essential spirit.
Andrea had a deep appreciation for her world. She was smart, beautiful, and talented. She found joy in numerous creative outlets over her life, and pursued them all with effortless competence. She also loved technology and puzzles, finding a career in computing.
For all her gifts, she was soft spoken and humble. Watching the seasons change, beautiful sunsets, lazy summer vacations at the beach, and home cooked dinners with her kids in front of the tv were some of the simple joys that filled her days . Her home always had fresh flowers, homemade cookies, and lots of reading material. She was deeply committed to her children, her faith, and her church.
To the end, she embodied grace and elegance and kindness. She was loved by her caregivers at Riverside Glen, her children and her siblings. She left this world gently, hearing words of love and gratitude. She is deeply missed by her family and friends.
