He enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing and food. He loved "Big Band" music and belonged to the Lou-Tex Holiday Rambler Camping Club.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Pearl Theresa Braquet. He is survived by his son, Dana Gerard Braquet and wife Sarah of Hampshire, TX.; daughter, Deborah Vincent and husband Glenn of Groves, TX.; brothers, Ury Braquet of Groves, TX and Laurent Joseph Braquet, Jr.of Loreauville, LA; sister, Janet Thibodeaux of Loreauville, LA; 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Christian Vigil will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Groves. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
