Richard Worthington

Richard (Dick) Worthington died peacefully at his home in Hillsboro, Ohio surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He was born in Pleasant Corners, Ohio on October 21, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Nellie (Schulz) Worthington, and his grandson Joshua. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Genevieve, his brother James (Carlene) Worthington, his children Sherry Worthington, Rick (Honor) Worthington, Jeanelle (Jeff) Harden, Tom (Stacy) Worthington, and his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was employed by AEP (Columbus Southern Power) for more than 40 years. When he retired, he and Genevieve decided to leave Grove City and move to Rocky Fork Lake, where he enjoyed fishing, boating and taking his children and grandchildren tubing and water-skiing. He was also an avid golfer and loved spending the day on the course with family and close friends. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday July 5, 2022 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City.
