Joann K. Baer

Joann K. Baer, age 94, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio passed away, at home, Friday, September 27, 2024 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born September 14, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Lydia (McClasky) Davis. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and bowling. Joann’s family was very important to her and she cherished the time that they spent together. Joann also enjoyed Seek and Find books. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baer; sons, Charles “Mike” Baer and Doug Baer; grandson, Clifford Brown; and son-in-law, Greg Bronson. Joann is survived by her son, Bob (Susie) Baer; daughters, Debbie (Cliff) Brown and Cathy Bronson; daughter-in-law, Sara Baer; grandchildren, Tracy (Bill McCoy) McGaffee, Marcy Baer-Smith, Jackie (Billy) Roush, Theresa Baer, Tina (David) Cordle, and Jessie (Jimmy) McCoy; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other friends and family. A graveside service with inurnment will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Concord Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Grove City.
