Jimmy L. Sidders, 50, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was born on May 25, 1974, at OSU Hospital with cerebral palsy. Jimmy is now enjoying a perfect body and resting in the arms of Jesus. He was a 1996 graduate of Beechcroft H.S; and a former employee of ARC Industries South and West. Currently working two days a week with ARC's Aspire program. He always loved going to work and riding in a school bus. He was a social butterfly whose smile lit up a room, and laughter was contagious. Everyone's day was better just by being with him. Jimmy's love and actions shared the love of Jesus without saying a word. He was also a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was excited to have attended the games twice at Ohio Stadium and had the players sign his Buckeye shirt. His big goal was to reach his 50th birthday and have an OSU-themed birthday party. When he turned 49, he started inviting everyone to his 50th party. His excitement became everyone's excitement. His party was the party of the year, with family, friends, and even OSU cheerleaders to celebrate his big day. Jimmy never let his physical limitations discourage him from living his life to the fullest. Life may have been more of a challenge, but he loved fun and adventure. He loved going on vacation; riding anywhere in the van was a pleasure. He has done horseback riding, adaptive skiing, riding in a helicopter, and many rides at the fairs and Kings Island, including the Little Beastie roller coaster and the Log Ride. Jimmy learned to use an eye-gaze communication device this year, opening up a whole new world. He could access music and found a new love for making playlists. He loved being our DJ for the holidays and at his 50th birthday party. Jimmy loved Jesus and attended Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He loved his pastors and church family. We are thankful for all their love and support.
