Cindy is survived by her husband Christopher, son Ethan, mother Sandra Allgeier, father Leroy Allgeier, mother and father in-law Joan and James Thomas, sisters Christine Allgeier (George Lambert), Mary Allgeier, Karen Blagg (James Dean), niece Riley Blagg, and nephew Zachary Blagg as well as many extended family members with whom she was very close.
Cindy was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 8, 1976 and grew up in Bright, IN. She graduated from East Central High School (St. Leon, IN) where she excelled in academics and was an avid member of the swim team. From there, she attended Butler University (Indianapolis, IN) where she met her husband, Chris, and earned a B.S. in Pharmacy 1999.
Cindy was an extraordinary mother and wife who always put her family first. She and Chris adopted their son, Ethan, from Kazakhstan in 2009. Ethan was the center of her world and she was his biggest cheerleader when playing tennis and soccer. At home, she took much pride and joy decorating the house and planting many flowers, especially her favorite, tulips. As a family, they enjoyed travelling, watching movies, playing games, and spending quality time together. In her free time, she liked reading, swimming/exercising, spending time with family and friends, and sipping fine wine.
Cindy perpetually invested her heart and soul to everything she did. She touched the lives of all she knew and encountered, including thousands of patients in long term care facilities across Central and Southern Ohio as a pharmacist for over 20 years. She was an incredibly lovely woman who is now in heaven listening to all her favorite Taylor Swift songs and playing intense games of Uno Attack and Parcheesi with all the other angels.
Visitation and funeral service will be private and for family only.
