Ronald Russell Stein, age 84 of Sterling Heights, passed away February 10, 2017. He was born in Detroit on December 16, 1932; the son of Lester A. and Otelia V. (nee Hausewirth) Stein. Following graduation from Denby High School, Ronnie went on to proudly serve his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army from January 13, 1953 until his honorable discharge on January 1, 1961. Ronald was employed at Excello for 30 years, another example of Ronnie's faithful loyalty. Loving brother of Marvin (Kate) Stein and the late Lester (surviving wife, Barbara) Stein. Caring uncle of Sharon (Scott) Stein-Mahaffy, Michael Stein and Jason (Shannon) Stein. Dear great-uncle of Erin (Daniel) Mahaffy-Price, Meghan Mahaffy, Allison Mahaffy, Hunter Stein, Alexis Stein, Jake Stein and John Stein. Ronnie's family will receive friends on Saturday from 2PM until time of service 5PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic, Warren.
