Mary Margaret “Peggy” Walsh of Harper Woods, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Peggy was born September 21, 1941, in Detroit, to the late Marie (Schneider) and Edward Patterson. She was the dear sister of Patricia (Henry) Willmer and the late Richard (Kathleen) Patterson. She was the loving aunt to Michael Willmer, Kathleen (Tom) Tsivitse, Erica (Stéphane) Labous and the late Mark Patterson. Beloved great-aunt to Christopher (Mia), Ryan, Cameron, Brandon, Brieg and Mark.
Peggy was the first female Grand Marshall of Detroit’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, President of the United Irish Societies from 1984-1985 and a long-time member of the AOH. She loved all things Irish and cherished her family and friends.
Friends and family will gather Wednesday, August 10, at 9:30am until the 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Church in St. Clair Shores.
