June Marie Chetcuti, age 92, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Beloved wife to Louis. Adored mother to Steven (Sarah), David (Barb), and John (Lori). Loving grandma to Nox Chetcuti, Steven Chetcuti, Shane Chetcuti, Danielle Szafraniski, Sylvia Green, Emily Chetcuti, Olivia Chetcuti, and Atom Chetcuti. Dear great-grandma to Ti’en, Luca, Marcus, Zelda, Amielia, Lucy, Lennon, and Joey. Dear sister to Judy Frontiera. Predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Clara Middleton, and her siblings Jean, Joyce, and Donald.
June was born on February 16, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating high school, she worked as a secretary for General Motors. After Lou retired, they started their own antique business called J & L Antiques.
June was an avid gardener and a keen eye for decorating, especially during the holidays. She loved to go antiquing and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation for June will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan 48236. A rosary will occur Friday at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will occur Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM, instate at 9:30 AM, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
