Barbara E. Fox

Barbara Elizabeth Fox, age 87, passed away in Warren on May 8, 2019. She was born in Detroit on December 9, 1931; the daughter of Edgar and Adelia (nee Koestner) Seitz. In her working years, Barbara originally sold phones for Bell before becoming a longtime and reliable Information Operator. She was also a very talented seamstress. She worked for Joann Fabrics for several years, but also made many of her families Halloween and recital costumes as well as any alterations that were needed. Most of all, she was a doting and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved mother of Michael (Donna) Fox, Kathy (Terry) Hasty, Karen Fox, Lisa Graham and Christine (Mark) Farquhar. Dear grandmother of Sarah (Chad), Daniel (Angelina), Stephanie (Christopher), Lauren, Jaclyn, Lindsey, Dane, Nicholas and Grace. Great-grandmother of Andrew. Beloved companion of Donald L Willoughby. Barbaras family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9th from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a Scripture Service 7:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic, Warren. Instate Friday, May 10th from 9:30AM until time of Mass 10AM at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison in Saint Clair Shores. Fr. Bryan Shackett will officiate. A committal service for Barbara will take place on Friday, May 10th at 2:00PM at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
