Mrs. Thelma Mae Caverly Fogarty

Mrs. Fogarty was born September 24, 1937 in Independence, MI daughter of the late Merrill William Caverly and the late Edna Pearl Brief Caverly. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Fogarty was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Fogarty; son, Gary Fogarty; brothers, Melvin, Floyd, Lawrence, Art & Basil Caverly and sisters, Margaret Kelley and Marion Guild.

Survivors include her children, Martha & Willie Griffin of Brooks, Michael & Cindi Fogarty of Griffin, Faye & David Iverson of Newnan, Davey Fogarty and Johnny & Debbie Fogarty of Brooks; grandchildren, Bonnie Griffin, Jamie Griffin, Tamara Harmon, Dustin & Meagan Tanner, Rebecca Fogarty and Katie Fogarty; great-grandchildren, Heather & Alex Herrin, Emma & Adelyn Harmon and James & Jake Griffin; brothers & sisters-in-law, Richard & Sandy Caverly, Kenny & Becky Caverly and sisters, Mona Hatfield & Barb Grose; Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Mae Fogarty will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
