Stanley Earl Dobson passed away on March 31, 2021. Stan was born on May 14, 1948 in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Virgil and Virginia (Nelsen) Dobson.
Stan moved to Sandy, Oregon when he was 5 years old where he lived for most of his life. In 1966 he graduated from Sandy High School. In 1971 Stan married Christi Woody in Portland, Oregon. They were married for 49 years. Stan worked for Northwest Natural Gas Company for about 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Stan is survived by his loving wife Christi, two daughters Jill Dobson and Julie (Thomas) Rhodes, brother Russell (Karen) Dobson plus his two grandchildren, Wyatt and Cole Rhodes.
A celebration of life service will be on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham.
